P!nk to my heart.

Pinks music has made a statement, not only to me, but to my heart too.  When the days are tough and I put her music in my ear my day is so much better.  She sings words that relate to my situations.  For example, I will be out running/walking when the song, "Just Like a Pill," plays, I just start yelling the phrase, "So I run, to the middle of nowhere, to my frustrated fears," this one sentence connects with my soul.  I lift my hands up, start smiling and start running.  It is such a freeing sentence for me.  I just take off running singing those freeing words.  I feel like I have a counselor in my ipod with P!nk singing.  

The song, "Family Portrait" is s splitting image of my life growing up and how I wished my family could be like the Family Portrait.  Now, "Leave Me Along, I'm Lonely," is my life to a tee and she is singing how I feel.  I feel that way so much, leave me along, I'm lonely.  I want people there but then I want to be alone.  I'm always doing the "Go Away, Come Back."   Why do I do this?  I fear being loved.

 These are just a few examples of her music taking hold in my life.  I know we all have shared the same experiences and it is such a joy to  have P!nk singing those soothing, comforting words to us, because, she gets it, has lived it and so she gets us, her fans.  A Pop Star understands her fans because she sings about our and her lives.  I can't say I do that too much with other musicians.

 She connects with my heart, when she smiles and jokes during her interviews and on stage.  She is an amazing woman whose concerts are real and one can easily connect to the pop star on stage when she starts talking to her fans.  She actually pours her love out onto us through her actions and music.

These are just a few of my songs that touch my heart, I know everyone has got P!nk music that touches their heart.  In all reality, P!nk gets it, get's us her fans, and get's life in general. 

 I love her music, her words, her personality, her heart because all of these molds my heart into a better person.   Thanks P!nk!!!
